This 1992 Ferrari 512 TR is one of 408 examples delivered to North America between 1992 and 1994, and it was purchased new by a collector in San Diego, California, prior to its acquisition by the current owner in May 1993. It is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 linked with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Argento Metallizzato over Nero Connolly leather. Equipment includes 18? five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, power windows, a Blaupunkt Washington radio, and a gated shifter. This 512 TR shows 34k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment as part of Mohr Imports’ Monterey Car Week Collection with the owner’s manual, handwritten records, tools, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The Pininfarina-designed 512 TR was introduced as the updated successor to the Testarossa in 1991, with revisions that included restyled bumper covers as well as revised wheels and lighting.

This example is finished in Argento Metallizzato and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, side intake strakes, body-color rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets. A ceramic coating was applied to the bodywork within the last year. The front spoiler has been refinished, and it is covered in clear paint-protection film along with the mirror caps.

Silver 18? five-spoke alloy wheels are secured with titanium lug bolts, and they are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs, and the calipers were rebuilt and powder-coated recently.

The cockpit is trimmed in Nero Connolly leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior amenities include motorized seat belts, and a gated shifter located on the center console alongside controls for the air conditioning and power windows. A Blaupunkt Washington SQR 49 is housed on the dashboard.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 34k miles, approximately 32k of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12 received updates over the version used in the Testarossa including Nikasil cylinder liners, a redesigned intake system, and Bosch engine management. Output was rated at 421 horsepower and 362 lb-ft of torque when new. Fluids services were performed in July 2024, and the alternator was rebuilt in October 2023. The most recent timing belt service occurred in May 2018, and the radiators were rebuilt roughly nine years ago. An updated Scuderia Rampante fuse box has been added.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
